Wenger Store Mural
Location: Boulder, CO
Client: Gensler
Scope: In 2010, the Swiss Army knife maker “Wenger” opened its sole retail location in Boulder and we painted this distressed mural for them. To replicate the effects of weather, age, and decay on this feature wall, we layered tints, omitted sections of detail and faded out areas of fresh paint to mimic the passage of time.
Distressed and weathered murals are a testament to the enduring appeal of aged aesthetics in contemporary art and design.
