Elitch Gardens Theatre Restoration
Location: Denver, CO
Client: Palace Construction Co., Inc.
Scope: Elitch Gardens was created in 1890, and the historic Theatre has been closed to the public since 1991. We helped restore the ornate plasterwork, decorative moldings, canopy tents and the painted decorative motifs of the era, so that a new generation can enjoy the charm and ambiance of the 1890s.
Restoration involves the use of period-appropriate materials and techniques to maintain authenticity while addressing any degradation or damage.
The ultimate goal of restoration is to create a dynamic space that preserves the past while embracing the future. Stargazer specializes in revitalizing historical art and spaces, preserving cultural heritage while integrating contemporary elements.
